7. Forgot About Inconspicuousness
http://youtu.be/uz9SNj_6Xok Now, I'm not a career criminal - the only law I ever break is jaywalking - but I have the feeling that if I was going to rob a convenience store, I would at least have an understanding of who was around me. The majority of petty thieves at least scope out their target before making an entrance - perhaps going through the aisles a few times. In my opinion, it seems like common sense. If you're going to rob somebody - or some place - you should have an idea of how guarded it is. If you somebody lifts 300 pounds a day, you probably won't mug them. If you know the cashier has a handgun under the counter, you probably won't rob them. However some stores just appear to be as convenient as the title "convenience store" suggests. But as we learn from this brainless thief, this one is an exception.
