10 Surefire Signs Your Starbucks Addiction Is Getting Out Of Hand

3. You Shun Anyone Who Drinks Coffee Elsewhere

Of course, not everybody understands that a day in a Starbucks is a day well-spent. Some will wonder why you don€™t get your coffee fix more affordably by brewing at home or more conveniently by stopping somewhere closer to your home or job. After all, how much of a difference could there be between Starbucks coffee and that from McDonalds or Dunkin€™ Donuts or that local independent café down the street?

Hopefully, you€™ll have learned early not to bother trying to explain the Starbucks superiority to such individuals or to try to reform them from their inferior sources of caffeine. The understanding is one that you are born with or without; why waste your time debating coffee with people whose spill stoppers and straws are not that most heavenly shade of green? No, the best way to deal with those of such baser tastes is to ignore the - admittedly tempting - opportunity to flaunt your refined palate and just go ahead and shun the nonbelievers.

At least, shun them until you€™ve finished your coffee. You€™re not unreasonable.
