https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KrMW2TcaOI Some would argue that political correctness has gotten out of hand in the United States, and those people may have a decent point. Regardless, there are some lines one just doesn't cross in good taste. You don't devalue someone based on race or gender. You don't advocate for the harming of animals or children, and you don't publicly criticize decorated military veterans who were prisoners of war. Just saying the last one puts a bitter, rotten eggs taste on the tongue. Donald Trump... didn't get the memo. At a Republican presidential forum in July, Trump ensured only crickets and tumbleweeds could be heard in the crowd when he blasted the military service of Arizona Senator John McCain. Now, to ensure proper context, McCain was a Naval pilot during the Vietnam conflict. His plane was shot down and held prisoner in Hanoi for five years. McCain refused early release, despite being beaten by his captors. Despite this, McCain made one comment about Trump stirring up "The crazies" in the Republican party with anti-immigration rhetoric. Trump's response? Hes not a war hero. Hes a war hero because he was captured. I like people who werent captured. Oh...no...he...didn't.
