Found in the Lower Lot, Jurassic Park - The Ride, is a water filled adventure through the world of Steven Spielberg's 1993 blockbuster movie.

When constructing the ride, Universal Creatives decided that they wanted to take their visitors on a whole new adventure in the dinosaur filled park. Turning to the Michael Critchen's original novel for inspiration, they came up with a water based attraction that takes guests on a ride through the doomed prehistoric zoo.

Jurassic Park - The Ride begins with the Richard Attenborough's immortal words "welcome to Jurassic Park", and although it starts as a pleasant journey through the waterways, soon things take a turn when the man-eating dinosaurs come out to play.

Throughout the ride there are places where you are likely to get wet, so unless it's a sunny day, a poncho is a must.

Another new attraction in the Jurassic Park area is the Velociraptor encounter. Standing at 9ft tall, you can get as close as you can to one history's most fearsome predators.
