No man wants to know about the delicate hands of the man who came before him, just like you wouldn't want to know about the amazing head his ex girlfriend used to give him. Talking about past flings won't achieve anything - and if they're an ex, it's probably for good reason. Name dropping into conversation amongst friends isn't appropriate either, even if it's in a bitchy way. The man who loves you now doesn't want to remember that once upon a time you loved someone else. He just want to be yours.
