10 Things That Wouldn't Exist Without Leonard Nimoy

10. Adam Nimoy

Well, this one is pretty literal, since Adam Nimoy couldn't possibly exist without Leonard Nimoy. Since he's, y'know, his son. The product of the elder Nimoy's first marriage, to the late actress Sandra Zober, Adam Nimoy is a television director born in 1956 who has worked on basically every show worth talking about. And a few more besides. Born in Los Angeles, he didn't have much say in the matter. Still, he took a rather unorthodox route behind the camera, initially working as a lawyer specialising in the entertainment industry before working as a director. He's filmed everything from Babylon 5 to Gilmore Girls to Star Trek: The Next Generation. He even directed his father in an episode of the revived Outer Limits series. Along with all that work, the younger Nimoy also teaches film directing in LA, and wrote the best-selling memoir My Incredibly Wonderful, Miserable Life. None of which would exist if it weren't for, y'know, his dad.
