There's a popular tale that tells the story of how the Jungle Cruise helped inspire Walt Disney and his philosophy still holds true today.

The story goes that shortly after Disneyland opened, Walt Disney was wandering around the park, a common occurrence for Disney as he liked to see what was going on. Hanging around the Jungle Cruise he overheard a mother tell her child that there was no point in riding the attraction as they had done it before.

Disney decided that the park and its attractions were to never be complete. His imagineers would constantly be thinking about how Disneyland could be improved and keep the rides fresh.

This philosophy still holds true today.
