4. It Has Its Own Government

To allow the Walt Disney Company to have more control over the building of its new properties in Florida they created their own improvement district.

Known as the Reedy Creek Improvement District, Disney has almost full control over their own building codes, utilities, roads and law enforcement.

Reedy Creek even has its own emergency services.
