1. She Was Made Fun Of In High School For Being Flat-Chested
Though it's not all that surprising to learn that Kate Upton's breasts weren't always as, uh, "sizeable" as they are nowadays, it's still somewhat bizarre to discover that she used to be bullied in junior high for being - brace yourself - "flat-chested." Of all things! In her own words:
" do know that when I was in junior high, I used to be made fun of - for being flat-chested. Everyone would go, 'She's not pretty! She doesn't have boobs!' So I always had boob envy. And when finally I went through my growth spurt, and they appeared, and I just... I loved them."
No, it doesn't compute that somebody who went on to be a model renowned for her bra size was subjected to ridicule for not having anything "there," but it's true. In fact, Kate wasn't even thought of as particularly pretty during her school days - her fellow students must have been in total shock when she emerged on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, then. Surely nobody in this particularly cruel school could have guessed that one day Upton would become best known for 36DD boobs?
