Having always hated the excesses of celebrity culture, it would appear that Galifianakis is doing quite a good job of not getting too sucked into it. After being asked to present at The Oscars, he told The Guardian: "In a way, I'm going to turn into the thing I despise." Perhaps his disdain stems from a down-to-earth upbringing in Wilkesboro, which was famous for being the worlds largest chicken plant. Fan: "Hey, aren't you that guy from The Hangover?" Zach: "No, no," he says, "I get that all the time." Fan: "Really? You look a lot like him." Zach: "No. I hate that guy. I think he's a terrible actor. And he's fat."
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
