Shelley the beard actually seems to be an integral part of Zach as a person one of his go-to routines is making fun of his beard-and-belly look, calling it the Marijuana Santa Claus, the Fat Garden Gnome, and the Amber Alert and as an actor. Hes played a strange, bearded man with a dog in Due Date, a strange bearded man in a mental hospital in It's Kind of a Funny Story, and a strange bearded man who draws comic books in HBO comedy Bored to Death. Beard fans should not be disappointed. Hes inspiration to bearded men everywhere.
