Making its home on African savannah, the warthog spends its days gobbling up grubs and grasses, and grazing on berries and even dead animal meat left over by satiated lions. The beauty of the beast is in the name the warty protrusions on the hogs head have an evolutionary purpose. They are fat reserves for when times get tough and there just arent enough grubs to go around. But having a purpose doesnt spare the warthog this time. Coupled with not one but two pairs of skyward facing tusks, sparsely growing hair across its leathery skin and a mullet that puts the coolest 70s dudes to shame, the warthog makes it onto the list of the planets ugliest animals.
