10 Weird Animals We're Using In Research

2. Save The Bees

Bees are great, they help flowers reproduce and in the process make the most amazing nectar, honey. These natural products of bees, such as royal jelly, honey and even their venom, have been found to have significant effects in cancer treatment and prevention. The application of these products inhibited tumour growth and increased survival of the animals they were tested on. These results may lead to human clinical trials using royal jelly or honey, combined with chemotherapeutic agents. Clearly tumours don't like honey the way we do. The bees have been steadily disappearing over recent years, just as its becoming more and more obvious just how much we need them. Save the bees, guys.
