German sweet-producer August Storck KG came up with the ingenious idea of mixing yoghurt with fruit to make a boiled sweet. Almost impossible to stop sucking on once you started, the strawberry and summer fruit flavours wowed an international market. They were discontinued in Britain in the late 2000s but remain a delightful treat on the continent.
