If you have a big Harry Potter fan in your group, or even if you don't, you really should head to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as soon as you enter the parks.

These areas are really popular, so they tend to get quite crowded quickly. Head to either Diagon Alley or Hogsmede as the first thing you do. Especially Diagon Alley, which is best appreciated with less people.

Staying onsite also offers you early access to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. If you are a guest at any of the onsite hotels you can head into Hogsmede and Diagon Alley an hour early than the rest of the general public.

When I last stayed at the resort last year I was able to get on to Forbidden Journey, ride Flight of the Hippogriff and grab a load of stuff in the shops and be in the queue for Skull Island: Reign of Kong just as the park opened. It was great way to explore those tiny Hogsmede shops with no one else around.
