Straight-haired individuals: it's time for you to hear about the woes of your curly haired acquaintances. While it's wonderful having curly hair, there are often times when those of us with more voluptuous hair curves break down into tears due to the problems our hair causes us. The curly haired individual will have tried having a fringe, and failed (because it just turns into a lot of little curls on the forehead). They will have been close to having a mullet on several occasions (because guess what happens when you decide to get layers cut into curly hair?) They will have broken down in the hair dressers and begged for chemical hair straightening because it's impossible to get your hair cut short when it's all mopish all over your head. And they will definitely have looked like an 80s rock star (think members of Kiss or female singer Cher) more than just the once. These things just happen, you know? We can glory in our curly locks all we want: but that doesn't stop them from exploding into a cloud every time we set out into the rain, or go on holiday to a humid country. And that's not even the worst of it...
