It is staggering that breastfeeding is still this much of a taboo subject in our society. However, the beauty of being able to sustain a life on the only natural food designed for babies outweighs every con of having boobs in general. There have been a lot of stories recently in the news of mothers asked to breastfeed in private or to stop in respect for the comfort of others, which is frankly appalling. Here is a simple solution to the problem: stop looking! Babies need to be fed, why should parents have to feel embarrassed to feed their child? Not only is it healthy for both mother and child, it also creates a beautiful emotional bond between them so please have some sympathy next time you see this. Just remember not to stare.
