Netballers are always stopping and starting in a game running in short, sporadic movements for an hour. During this time you know where to be and when, make sure your shoe laces are tied within a matter of seconds, your hair is clipped back and you analyse what is happening at the other end of the court. You need to be aware of everything that is happening during the game even when you are not actively involved in the play.
