7. You Go For The Drink
Which turns into two drinks. Which turn into three drinks, four drinks, five drinks. Thank god its Friday. But its good; the conversation is flowing, he put his hand over yours twice, and he pressed his hand against your lower back when you both went up to the bar for cocktails. That means he likes you, right? He drops you home like a proper gentleman and then kisses you goodnight (why do the best nights always fly by so quickly?) You run into your house and shut the door and scream excitedly before realising all the windows are open and he probably just heard you. And now he thinks youre a maniac. Or that you just killed whoever else lives in your house with you. You spend the rest of the weekend panicking and dreading going back to work on Monday. Hes never going to speak to you again. Maybe youll have to look for a new job.
