A little app that would start crackling and popping like a Geiger counter whenever an info-dump approaches. With this warning you could go and get a coffee ready, as you are going to have read through a long explanation that the author could not find a way to avoid. There is the difficulty that with some kind of books, such as technological thrillers, you could start feeling as if you are surrounded by bowls of breakfast cereal. With subsequent upgrades, the app could collect this information and put it into a before our story starts or previously on chapter before the main narrative.
