4. The Background Giver

Granted not every speaking part in a novel needs a background and a life story before they deliver their one line in the text. But there are times when you might want walk-on characters to have some more depth. Especially when the main detail of female characters, by a male writer is that they are €˜sexy€™. The Background giver, could come up with a quick couple of paragraphs that would give characters a life outside the main action. If these characters were so dismissed by the creator, don€™t they deserve some love elsewhere? There are probably dire meta-fictional consequences if this doesn't happen enough.
