9. Her 16th Birthday Party Was Suicide Themed

There have been a lot of reports about Frances' 16th birthday party - most of them conflicting, it must be said - but the one detail that caught a lot of attention in the media was that it appeared to be suicide themed. Under the guise that she was burying her childhood as she emerged into adulthood, the party was decorated in some seriously grim decor that more than echoed the grizzly end met by her late father. Later claims that it was just supposed to be themed around death were quickly squashed when an invite for "my suicidal 16th" was leaked to the press. All in all the bash cost almost a quarter of a million dollars, all paid for by her mother Courtney, and there was even a live set by the band Mindless Self Indulgence.
