9. Mickey Mouse Can't Be Your Officiant

Unfortunately Mickey Mouse is unable to be your minister and Goofy can't give you away, but they can come to your reception.

Disney characters are not allowed to be invited to your ceremony but for a fee they can turn up at your party.

Starting at $1,150 - a Disney character can come to your wedding reception for 30 minutes. You don't have to have just one character, you can have as many as you want. So if you are desperate to have the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto) then you can.

They can also wear certain outfits, so if you want Chip and Dale to wear their western ensembles then you can request it.

You can do a lot in the 30 minutes your characters are there, from getting them to help you cut the cake, to involving them in your first dance.

There are also some restrictions on which ones you can invite. Licensed characters such as Winnie the Pooh aren't available. You may also not be allowed certain characters at particular locations.

So even though Minnie can't be your Maid of Honour you can get your photo take with her and all your other bridesmaids at your reception.
