Unfortunately for you, you've missed a flight, which means you have to speak to customer service reps about getting on another one. It turns out that these people hate being in an airport almost as much as you do, and their attitude is very reflective of that.
3. Soul-Destroying Layovers
The only thing worse than tight flight connections are the ones that aren't tight at all. You're already spending so many hours in the air, so the act of waiting around in another airport for your next flight is just soul-crushing.
2. The Never-Ending Baggage Claim Cycle
This one is definitely mine! Oh...wait, this one has GOT to be mine! Oh... You've landed at your intended destination, and all you want to do is get the hell out of this soul-sucking place, but, it's BAGGAGE TIME. Now you must proceed to the basement of the airport and wait for 324793245 years for your luggage. And it's always last.
1. The Realisation That You've Lost Your Baggage
You'd think that baggage claim is the last possible destination to screw you, but you would be wrong. Your bag did not make it onto your flight. This then requires you to deal with more unhelpful humans while you fill out a missing baggage report. Your fate is in the hands of these people, and you are forced to wait at home for a phone call that may or may not come with the fate of your belongings. It's been emotional.
