5. Deadly Revolver Camera

The ultimate help in home security hit the market in 1938 in the form of a Colt 38 revolver with mounted camera.

Not only does it enable you to capture images of anybody who invades your home, you can also simultaneously pump six bullets into them, thus somewhat inhibiting their ability to run off with your telly.

As the trigger is pulled and the gun fires, the camera shutter is also pressed, taking a photograph of whatever the gun is pointed at. This means that you can get a good picture of the burglar's face before blowing it off.

Apart from anything else, this is a real help to those poor policemen, as it really speeds up the criminal/victim identification process (the poor things have got enough paperwork as it is).

Another real bonus is that you can create a cheery little photo album, or even a home gallery, of all of the home invaders that you've managed to maim or kill with your excellent revolver camera.

Fun for all the family.
