This is one international photographic giant whose image is far from picture perfect, that's for sure. Kodak's strong link to one of Hitler's most-trusted economic advisers, Wilhelm Keppler, ensured that the American company routinely sacked Jewish employees so that US businesses could "benefit" by continuing trading in Germany. The company also utilised slave labourers in its Germany factories, and produced detonators as well as other military explosive devices for the Nazi war machine. In fact, so strong were Keppler's ties with the company that the US intelligence agencies regularly referred to him as "Kodak man". Unfortunately, this is a shameful "Kodak moment" the corporation's hierarchy would rather forget...
