12 Funniest Times Famous Artists Fell Off Stage

If there's one thing humanity loves, it's laughing at someone else's physical-misfortune.

Gif 400x222 Cf48d9 Gif If there's one thing humanity loves, it's laughing at someone else's physical-misfortune. Add in the fact the subject of said misfortune is in front of a few thousand people, wearing some sort of strange costume meant for a sci-fi movie that will never be made, and you've got a recipe for some real knee-slappers. After all, whilst we're not saying we should suddenly devolve into a group of finger-pointing chuckleheads, at the same time we've all done that thing where after a friend has taken a tumble, we edge in to make sure they're okay, and after a confirmation has been uttered all manner of hyena-like chortles explode from all and sundry. We stress that all these artists are completely fine, regardless of how serious (and hilarious) these tumbles may look, therefore you can feel devoid of guilt watching someone like Bono go head-over-heels and yet still maintain those damned sunglasses, which at this stage must be tattooed onto his head.

12. Lil Wayne

Everyone's favourite (well, for a few months) rapper Lil Wayne, seen here barrelling across the stage in some attempt to drum up a bit of excitement at one of his gigs outside the arduous task of putting up with his voice. It has to be said this is one of the best comedic falls we've seen, complete with flappy-bird-arms and legs-at-90-degree angles.

11. Destiny's Child

As some sort of pictoral representation of how their careers were going to go, Michelle Williams is seen frantically grabbing onto fellow bandmate Kelly Rowland as she falls out of the spotlight, leaving the so-attractive-it's-just-annoying Beyoncé room to get her wiggle on. You've gotta love just how much either of them don't react whatsoever to what his going on, instead carrying on with their dance routine.

10. Olly Murs

Down he goes with his pork-pie hat on, the incendiary-fanatic himself; Olly Murs. This seems to be one of those times where you just know you're going to fall, and decide to buckle up for the ride, in this case with Murs grabbing on for dear life as he slides down into the bottom of the staging area.
