1. Everything Is Edible, Except Food

When this happens: From the time they start teething, which can be as early as a month.

Your shoes (or toes), the dog’s food, the remote control, nail polish bottles, furniture, everything that your kid can stick into their mouth is considered a morsel… except what’s meant to go into their mouths. 

Try as you might, your child isn’t willing to eat a grape or a carrot or a fish finger – the only thing they’re interested in eating is the inedible.
