No, you may not use the bathroom in peace, you are a parent now and that’s the end of it. If you so much as consider going to the bathroom and close the door behind you, there will be hell to pay. 

Your toddler will stand outside the door, bang on it and scream his/her head off until you re-emerge. Toddlers believe they are your bodyguards and that the big bad toilet’s sole purpose is to eat you alive, so they have to be with you when you go there. 

No exceptions.
