This is one of the most obvious, and most wonderful inventions on this list. A second generation of chocolate covered bacon (bacon flavored chocolate came around only after people started covering bacon in chocolate), can be found on numerous websites... when it isn't sold out, as testament to how well it is received. It's an inevitable marriage, considering the relatively small jump from maple syrup and bacon to other confectionaries, and the results are similarly epic, thanks to the perfect blend of saltiness and sweet creamery. The best version of bacon flavoured chocolate is milk chocolate that has tiny pieces of bacon inside: it's probably the best thing pigs and cows have done together since the bacon burger.
7. Bacon Salt
Bacon is a salt-lover's second favourite food - after salt. The sheer existence and availability of meat relies heavily on the salt industry, and while salting your bacon would likely be frowned upon (not least by your heart doctor) this is 2014, where you can now BACON salt anything. Bacon Salt, available on ThinkGeek, was created by J&D's Foods and comes in multiple flavour variations - original, hickory, peppered, natural, applewood, maple, cheddar, jalapeno, and mesquite. Again, it's totally kosher and vegetarian, which means you can once again try to help your vegetarian friends deal with the lack of bacon in their lives, as well as improving almost every item in your fridge.
