11. The 'Jarra' Stereotype
It's not uncommon for a Jarrow native to reveal their hometown to a stranger, only to be met with a raise of the hands and a sarcastic cry of "woah, we don't want any trouble here mate". This has to stop. Not every Jarrovian is a snarling, Burberry cap-wearing pitbull. Sure, one or two of us are - and the general population may have more ASBOs than GCSEs - but it's actually a lovely town full of talented people.
