13. People Think You're Not Clever Enough To be An Actual Classroom Teacher

Just because the job requirements of a teaching assistant don't necessarily need a minimum of a four year degree with one year's experience, doesn't mean that you're any less intelligent than an average classroom teacher. It just makes you less experienced and a whole lot richer. You're still having to research different teaching methods that are appropriate to the children that you're teaching, and because you spend so much one on one time with them, you're able to approach these different methods a lot easier because you know them.
