The most exciting video to appear on the internet following the previews in Shanghai is footage of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Sunken Treasure ride.

Even though we knew the ride was going to be something different to the traditional versions in Disney's other parks, no one could have expected this.

The ride looks awesome!

Some of the traditional Pirates elements such as the treasure room and riding through the restaurant have been translated over but the ride is completely unique and totally not a re-hash of what's gone before.

Luring you into a false sense of security the ride begins as a gentle boat trip before Captain Jack Sparrow makes his appearance. Unlike other Pirates of the Caribbean rides, Captain Jack is integral to the story. Jack takes you on a journey with him down to Davy Jone's locker and right into the middle of a sea battle.

If you are a Pirates of the Caribbean fan (ride or movie) you're going to NEED to go on this attraction.
