13 Unbelievable Celebrity UFO Sightings
1. Walter Cronkite
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCyHydB8e48Walter Cronkite is one of the most trusted news personalities of all time. To a generation of Americans growing up in the 1960s and 70s, his name was synonymous with news. If Cronkite said it, it must be true. The world might have been more adamant about government disclosure had Walter Cronkite shared what he had seen in the 1950s.
According to UFO researcher Bill Knell, Walter was in a South Pacific island with a pool of fellow reporters at that time to witness new Air Force technology. A missile in particular was launched, but the Air Force panicked when a 50-60 foot saucer flew after the missile.
The saucer emitted a blue beam to freeze the missile from movement, along with an Air Force guard and a dog. Both the guard and the dog walked away from their suspended state, but the missile was made to explode right where it was frozen.
The officers later told Cronkite and the other reporters that the entire UFO experience was staged. Even though the UFO was part of the event, the reporters were ordered not to report on it.
Cronkite only told a few people the story and the experience likely was the inspiration for a CBS UFO Special that he later did. Knell didn't write about the story that the famous newsman told him until 1998.
