2. Mickey Rourke

Before he became an '80s movie icon and his subsequent, yet brief resurgence following The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke was a pretty successful amateur boxer.

Training out of Chris and Angelo Dundee's world famous 5th Street Gym, which was the same place that helped mould a young Muhammad Ali, Rourke honed his technique on Miami Beach, Florida amongst a plethora of other young, talented boxers.

Although he amassed a pretty impressive record of 27 wins (12 knockouts) and three losses, a concussion took him out of competition. If you weren't amazed with his "boxing match" against Elliot Seymour back in 2014, you can find some of his earlier fights online which are actually quite impressive.
