When you visit Dumfries, you'll find a whole array of characters. From goths, to skaters, to the beauticians and the politicians, you'll find every clique under the sun in this town. And whilst you think that this may cause some tension amongst the locals and it would be a lie to say that it didn't, for the most part, everyone just gets on with it. Dumfries is one of those towns where people have learned to play nice (most of the time) even if the locals do love their pets more than most people.
