So, this is what being an adult feels like. Hungover, hungry, and in need of a career choice, or at least some sort of big change to mark this momentous change in age. So you decide to do something crazy. Like travel for a while. Or join the police force. Frodo and Sam heading off on their quest: ok, so Gandalf has given them the general gist of how bad things are, but they don't have a single clue how bad it's about to get. Striding off into the unknown with their bare feet and pretty brooches is more of an adventure than a trip to save the world.
