Fashion through the ages will always be scrutinised and while the sixties were known for being generally awesome, the seventies for glitter ball chic and the eighties for grand pomp, it seems that going by this item at the number one spot, fashion from the nineties is going to always remain gloriously irrelevant. Take this, the hair mascara, an invention that although in its infancy at the time, and surprisingly doing something of a roaring trade these days, ended up doing nothing other than make you look a tad silly. Need a picture painted? A group of kids enter French class, head to the back and one kid pulls some of L'Oreal's finest out of his pencil case. One boring lesson later and they all shuffle out hair seemingly shat on by angry pigeons and no closer to getting their first girlfriend. The cooler kids stuck with the Sun-In. Got any other nineties clothing disasters to dig out the wardrobe? Some dire accessories that are deserved of mention? Then take a trip down to the comments thread and discuss.
