Donald Glover is a big fan of the internet. He even named his second proper album under his rap alter-ego, Childish Gambino, Because The Internet, and made its official album art an animated gif. Best known as Troy from the cult NBC sitcom Community (which was recently cancelled and resurrected as a Yahoo! web series, with Glover departing to develop his own show elsewhere), Glover himself has decided to wrinkle all of our brains with the official Gambino website. Or at least the old version, which was up before the release of Because The Internet, did. Thank the maker for the Internet Wayback Machine! Prior to its current snazzy layout the Childish Gambino website was a much more spartan affair, with a few hyperlinks set against a dark background. It also gave you the option to "enter" a page number at the bottom, if you scrolled down far enough, which lead to some...interesting things. Try entering one of the many "secret" addresses into the Wayback machine and you'll get sent to everything from hidden music videos for songs from Because The Internet, funny YouTube clips, animated gifs, and a whole bunch of stuff that'll make you forget about that weird Instagram breakdown he had a little while back.
