From the look of his desk, he isn't coming back at all. His pictures are gone, his computer has been wiped. Budgets are tight, and it looks like you weren't the one to go. But don't relax, if people around you are unceremoniously leaving, then you're not off the hook yet. The instinct is to feel safe because you're not the one being eaten by the lions.
