15 Things All People Who Have Stayed In A Hostel Understand
4. 70 People Stuffed In A Room With No Air Conditioning In Summer
Some hostels certainly try to make the most out of the space they have. Usually by far the cheapest, they are good options for long-term travellers and folks at the end of their trip who have all but run out of money.
You quickly realise that there is no room to put any of your things, your bunk is the fourth one right at the top, and everybody’s stuff is strewn across the room like a clothing bomb just went off. Added to that there is a shirt on the floor that seems to have something living in it and you might just be in hell.
Then the night comes. It is clammy and hot and you are pretty sure you can feel the breath of people in the bunk only inches away from you and it smells like cheese. Maybe put the air con on? Nope, there is none. Sleep tight.
