We most often associate talking to oneself with craziness or insanity. I mean, youd have to be crazy to have conversations with yourself, right? Yet when we know we are alone, sometimes the words just start pouring out and before you know it, you are talking to yourself. No one will admit it when asked, but everyone talks to themselves every so often. Despite its association with mental illness, talking to yourself is completely normal and is actually a great way of clarifying ideas, motivating yourself, and coping with loneliness. Frankly, youd probably go crazy not talking to yourself.
