12. If You Wore Lipstick

Today's makeup is pretty safe and easily available to any woman who would like to feel a little more comfortable in her own skin and even though makeup has been around almost as long as 150 BC, it used to be made of lead and was extremely dangerous for the wearer. In the 1600's though, it was unsafe for a completely different reason. Wearing makeup (particularly lipstick) was deemed "evil" as it seduced men into committing adultery. So if you wore lipstick, you were a witch. I can almost hear your eyes rolling.
