15 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do With Your Macbook

6. Recording iPhone Screens

A useful tip for handheld Lets Play-ers or anyone trying to demonstrate a new app on their phone or iPad, by connecting their iDevice into their Macbook using the standard Apple cable (15 or 30 pin), users can record their screens through QuickTime. After choosing "New Screen Recording" in QuickTime, there is a small arrow next to the red record button that allows Macbook users to change their input. Once that is set to their phone or iPad, they can keep a record of anything that has been done on it. Author's note: Yes, this background is Hal 9000 for the iPhone and GLaDOS for the Macbook. All technology should be named after famous A.I.s - points for noticing!
