15 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do With Your Macbook
14. Setting Programs To Run On Startup
When a Macbook shuts down, a little pop-up box will flash onto your screen asking if you want to close all programs, or have your MacBook remember which ones it was last using to have them all load up again when you next want to go online - a feature that can be quite irritating as the more programs opened upon startup, the slower the MacBook will take to boot. Instead, users can specifically choose which programs they want to have running at startup by going into System Preferences, then Users, then Login Items. From there, it's simply a matter of selecting your applications. Think of all the YouTube videos you can binge watch now that those precious seconds have been saved.
