4. Traditional Mincemeat Pie
Theres a myth that consumption of mincemeat pies on Christmas Day is illegal, and it's true that many people are freaked out by traditional mincemeat pie - especially by the fact that it's called "meat" and is ostensibly a pudding. Charles Dickens even joked that mincemeat pie was made from kittens, which would probably be preferable to those who turn their nose up at the heavily spiced, super sweet chutney-like filling you see nowadays.
