1. A Trip To The Edge Of Space
If you're feeling particularly flush, like $75,000 kind of flush, you could always treat your science nerd loved one to a truly out-of-this-world experience. Arizona-based World View Enterprises have said that they plan to be sending people to the very edge of space by 2017. From that high, passengers will be able to see the curvature of the Earth and the inky blackness of open space. The specially designed balloon will reach altitudes of 100,000 feet and will spend up to two hours amongst the stars. This would be an opportunity to see the world from an angle that precious few people in the history of the human race have. Keep updated and perhaps even register your interest (and your $75,000)
