17 Body Parts You Didn't Know Had A Name

10. Frenum

Wikipedia

You actually have more than one frenum, or frenulum, on you body. It's that little bit of connective tissue that restricts movement of a body part, including you tongue and you upper lip.

Men also have one on their penis. This can snap horribly during sex and is also a popular piercing spot, so don't google it at work unless you want a lot of pierced and/or injured willies to explain away to your boss.

9. Tragus

Wikipedia

The tragus is that little triangle of cartilage that you can use to block your ears if you push it.

Aside from being being, like the frenum, a popular part of the body to pierce, we're not entirely sure what it does, or if it does anything at all. It could be that it plays a role in detecting the direction of sounds.
