5. Ashlee Simpson's Lip Sync Disaster

Everyone does it, but no one did it as horrendously as Ashlee Simpson in 2004 on Saturday Night Live. She performed her first song without a hitch and when she was waiting for the next one, the same song, 'Pieces Of Me' started playing again. Awkward. But what made it even more awkward was that she had no idea what to do when she realised that she had been caught out, so the obvious thing would be to start a hoe down, which she did. She ended up doing some weird little Irish-esque jig dance and then left whilst the music was still playing. It went on for 30 seconds before the show went into adverts. Oh dear.
