Although the Joe Rogan Experience isn't necessarily a place that is used to settle debates, when it does happen it can lead to some very important conversations. One of the biggest topics in the world today is whether or not someone should be banned from social media if they're using their right to speak freefully.
Rogan originally had CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, on the podcast earlier in 2019, but there was a backlash following his appearance as many fans felt that Rogan hadn't asked him some extremely important questions. One of those questions was why it seemed like Twitter were unfairly leaning to the right when it came to political hate speech on their social media platform, while ignoring the left.
Although he didn't have to go back on the show to explain himself any further, Dorsey returned with one of Twitter's top legal executive, Vijaya Gadde, and discussed a whole host of topics regarding banning. Rogan also brought back journalist and political commentator, Tim Pool, to challenge Dorsey and Gadde on some of their practices.
